News: Daniel Amesbury Suspension & Procedure Change - Federal Prospects Hockey League

Daniel Amery’s suspension and procedure modification
New York’s Binghamton The FPHL has decided to suspend Daniel Amesbury from the league indefinitely, effective immediately.

He will no longer be permitted to take part in any FPHL practices or on-ice events in any manner. After much deliberation over the past few weeks with attorneys, FPHL staff, and members of our league’s Board of Governors, this decision has been made. Above all, the league is committed to enhancing player safety.

If it is thought to be in the league’s best interests, the FPHL has the authority to forbid any personnel from taking part in FPHL games.

The Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) respects all suspensions from Professional Hockey Leagues in North America.

Whether a player is still actively involved in the league or not, the FPHL will not allow them to join it until the suspension has been served.

The FPHL reserves the right to reject any Professional Try-Out Agreement or Standard Player Contract if it is deemed in the best interest of the league.

The FPHL will keep working to improve player and on-ice safety. The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league in its 14th season, operating from 2023 to 24. It can be found on Facebook at Federal Prospects Hockey League.

I have contacted everyone I know and asked around town, but nobody seems to know why this is occurring.

He hasn’t done anything on or off the ice that would be grounds for a ban of this kind, according to everyone I’ve spoken to.

It makes sense that Danbury Hat Tricks fans are upset. Here are a few remarks left on the Hat Tricks Facebook fan page:

Judy A.A. said, “Protest if we knew where FPHL headquarters was.”

Ryan Carlson: “Binghamton is home to Judy Andersen Abdalla.” Are you shocked?

“This is wrong on many levels!” exclaimed Richard Matzinger.

Anthony Nyg: “Court case.”
