REPORT: The Indianapolis Colts Announce Devastating News Regarding their 25-Year-Old Interior Offensive Lineman

The Indinapolis Colts completed mandatory minicamp last Thursday and will have a month and a half off before they begin training camp on July 25.

The Colts had four centers on their roster and needed to trim down the position heading into training camp.

The Buffalo Bills drafted Anderson in the 7th round, 236th overall of the 2021 NFL Draft. The Bills released him during roster cuts in his rookie season and re-signed him to their practice squad. He would be on their practice squad until September.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed Anderson off the Bills’ practice squad on September 21. He played two games and started one in 2021, with one pressure, zero hurries, one hit, zero sacks allowed, and a 71.0 PFF grade in 81 snaps (50 at C and 31 at RG). The Eagles released him during roster cuts in his second season.

The New York Giants claimed Anderson off waivers on August 31. He played 12 games and started two in 2022, with six pressures, three hurries, two hits, one sack allowed, and a 47.9 PFF grade in 147 snaps (64 at LG, 75 at RG, and eight at ITE). The Giants released him during roster cuts in his third season.

The Indianapolis Colts signed Anderson to their practice squad on September 12. The Colts elevated him to the active roster on October 31. He played six special teams snaps in 2023.

The Colts now have three centers on their roster.

Ryan Kelly is the Colts’ starting center. Kelly is in his ninth year in the league. He has played 111 games and started 111 in his career, with four Pro Bowl appearances. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2025.

Wesley French is the Colts’ backup center. French is in his third year in the league. He played 17 games and started three in 2023, filling in for Kelly. He will be a restricted free agent in 2025.

Danny Pinter is another Colts’ backup center. Pinter is in his fifth year in the league. He has played 46 games and started seven in his career. He will compete against French for the backup job. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2025.
