The Buckeyes have commitments from two of the country’s top 2025 prospects that are from Alabama, cornerback Na’eem Offord and defensive end/edge Zion Grady.

And it’s full speed ahead on 2026 recruiting in the state of Alabama for the Buckeyes and that includes Buckeye running backs coach Carlos Locklyn recruiting running back Ja’Michael Jones from Montgomery (Ala.) Pike Road.  Locklyn offered Jones a scholarship in April and has continued to stay in contact with him since then.

Buckeye QB offer has Ohio State as a top choice, working with Chip Kelly on a return visit

The Buckeyes offered a scholarship to a quarterback when he visited Ohio State in April who is looking forward to a return to OSU.

In mid-April, Ryan  Dayextended a scholarship offer to Brady Palmer from San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral Catholic on the first day of Palmer’s weekend visit to Ohio StateChip Kelly had been out to see Palmer throw in person earlier in the spring.

After that weekend at Ohio State and being offered by the Buckeyes, Palmer told Bucknuts the Buckeyes were at the top of his list and that he might be back at Ohio State for camp in June. That happened and he performed well at the camp.
