With the end of this season bringing contract questions, including one regarding his fifth-year option, the Chicago Bears need to see more of quarterback Justin Fields.

After missing three starts, their injured starter might make a comeback on Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers, but they won’t know for sure until later in the week due to the shorter workweek.

Coach Matt Eberflus stated, “We’ll look at it (Monday), look at how he’s doing today, his functionality, and see where it is.” After an injury, it always comes down to the medical staff releasing the player and the player’s perception of his ability to play the game.
