NBA Straya NEVER FORGET – OFF-SEASON EDITION: Jay Williams – NBA Straya

Jay Williams, a former two-time All-American at Duke, is an ESPN college basketball analyst. He made a big statement during Tuesday night’s telecast of No. 3 Kansas vs Oklahoma State in Stillwater.

Williams boldly declared that, if he were in the transfer portal today, he would move to Duke rival North Carolina during a conversation about it with play-by-play announcer Jon Sciambi.

Thus, thinking back to his playing days, I would have attended Georgetown,” Williams remarked. “Had I been playing for John Thompson,” Williams groaned as he stared at Sciambi. “If you’re asking me today…ah man, this is a tough one because I don’t know if I’d be allowed to go back home.”

Are you going to mention North Carolina now? With a shocked expression on his face, Sciambi inquired.

Williams joked, “I just like the way they play.” It’s a play style that moves quickly. I enjoy it! .. You questioned me! attempting to justify himself, he continued.

The following are some of the greatest responses from Duke basketball supporters in the wake of Williams’ audacious remarks on national television:
