The Indiana Pacers return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse this week, but their star will not be playing for a while.
The team announced Tuesday morning that Tyrese Haliburton will continue to manage his left hamstring strain. He will miss the Pacers’ next three games, against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, and the Phoenix Suns on Friday.
He will be re-evaluated Saturday before the Pacers face the Memphis Grizzlies.
Haliburton suffered the injury on January 8 against the Boston Celtics while doing the splits and slipping while driving to the basket. He has missed six games since then, but he did play on January 17 in a loss to Portland, scoring 21 points and dishing out 17 assists.
The Pacers are 3-3 in games he has missed, and they have traded for Pascal Siakam.
