After playing two away games in a row last week, Duke will host Charlotte when it returns home on Saturday.
The game is televised on the Blue Devil Sports Network by David Shumate and John Roth, with Tom Werme and Mike Gminski hosting the call on The CW.
The Duke basketball team has a 6-1 (.857) series advantage over the 49ers in their seven meetings on the court, including a perfect 3-0 record at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Meanwhile, big Igor Milicic Jr. contributed 13 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals, and guard Lu’Cye Patterson handed out a career-high eight assists with nine points.
Duke is ranked ninth in the country for assist/turnover ratio, sixth in turnover percentage (12.4%), and fifth in terms of fewest turnovers per game (8.6).

In terms of free throw percentage (78.1%) and scoring defense (61.9 points allowed per game), Charlotte is ranked 16th and 19th respectively in the country.

Duke has been among the best teams in the nation in limiting turnovers through eight games.

In two of Duke’s last three games, sophomore Kyle Filipowski has recorded double-doubles, bringing his career total to 18 in just 44 games played.
The Westtown, New York, native recorded his first double-double of the year against Southern Indiana, scoring 21 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Then, at Arkansas, he erupted for a season-high 26 points and 10 rebounds, scoring 23 points in the second half.

Compared to his rookie season, Filipowski’s shooting average has increased thus far this season. The 7-footer is shooting 52.9% from the field, up from 44.1% in the 2022–2023 season, and is averaging almost 20 points per game.

The adaptable big is also on track to increase the amount of blocks and assists he has. After swatting a total of 26 shots during his first season, Filipowski has already blocked 15 shots this season while recording only nine turnovers.

Cameron Indoor Stadium has hosted 511 straight sold-out Duke games. When Duke played Boston College at home on November 16, 1990, there had not been a sellout since then.
The sellout percentage is the longest current streak (in terms of time) in the NBA or men’s college basketball.
Duke’s record at Cameron during the sellout stretch is 463-47 (.908).

At Cameron Indoor, Duke has amassed an all-time record of 950-171 (.847), which includes a 572-76 (.883) record while Coach K was in charge.
More games than any other college basketball team have been won at Duke’s current home court.
Since the facility debuted on January 6, 1940, Duke has averaged 11.1 victories as the home of the Blue Devils, including a 36-27 victory over Princeton in the current 85th season.

Duke has the second-longest stretch in the country—1,197 games—in which they have made at least one three-pointer.
The last time Duke was denied a three-point field goal was on December 30, 1989, against Hawaii. That was more than 30 years ago.
