NBA Power Rankings: Spurs Surging After Wins?

Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs got two rare wins over the past week. Where does that put them in this week’s power rankings?

The San Antonio Goads flashed their potential this past week by getting two wins, counting one against the Western Conference pioneer Minnesota Timberwolves.

The triumphs made a difference thrust the Goads up to No. 27 in CBS Sports’ most recent control rankings, one spot ahead of the past version.

San Antonio picked up two wins this week, beating the Jackets and indenting a shock triumph over the Timberwolves,” CBS Sports composes. “They too misplaced to the Thunder and Wizards, as Victor Wembanyama put up 23 focuses, 11 bounce back, 4.5 helps and three squares in less than 30 minutes per diversion.”

The Goads might have made a greater bounce had they beaten the Washington Wizards on Monday, but they came up brief.

Now, the Spurs are back in action tonight with the Orlando Magic in town. Then, the team hosts a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday against the New Orleans Pelicans and Cleveland Cavaliers before heading out on their rodeo road trip.
