As a tall player, he knows how to finish at the basket with both hands.
He’s a great rebounder, can shoot 3-pointers, is a top-notch rebounder and shot blocker, and is a versatile defender.
He’s exactly what we wanted and needed in this class.
James has a great family.
I’m so happy to be with you.
I’m really glad he’s a Tar Heel.

“Ian is the reason I love New York guards,” Davis said.
“He’s tough, he’s competitive, he’s playing with a shoulder injury.
Ian can score directly with the ball, off the ball, in transition.
He can throw the ball, but he can also pass the ball.
He also likes Ian and is a good defensive player.
I’ve never seen a kid as ambitious as Ian, yet humble and friendly off the field.
He has a smile and personality that lights up the Smith Center, and he’s one of the best defenders in the world.
I’m very excited to be a Heel.
