The Panthers have retaliated against coach Ivan Cleary after star

implied that signing him as a primary playmaker would be a “risk” for rival teams.

Powerbrokers in Penrith have proposed a $1.7 million, two-year extension to keep him at the base of the mountain.

But on November 1st, he went free agent and is expected to receive offers from teams willing to pay him more than $1 million a season, with the hope of making him a key player for those teams.

Luai posted an anime-styled photo of himself on Instagram on Thursday along with the message, “Know Your Worth.”

The lead song from the well-known rapper’s 2005 feature film Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, Hustler’s Ambition, was also shared by him with the post.

When the Daily Telegraph contacted Matt Cameron, the CEO of the Panthers football team, he was aware of the position.

Cameron stated, “I’ve seen it, we haven’t talked to Jarome about it.”

“The coach has been absent; he returned the day before last.” I believe the coach had communicated with him. Three weeks ago, we met with him, and during that meeting, everyone was quite open and honest. Ivan mentioned some things yesterday that we have been discussing.

“This post is exactly what it is. I’m not a part of the social media generation. We’ll talk to Jarome and carry on that exchange.

Nathan Cleary and Luai have developed a fantastic halves tandem that has seen them win the trophy three times in the last three seasons.

Though Cleary acknowledges that he “belongs” with the Panthers, he acknowledged that it would be tough to decline any offers that might be made.

“However, it is certain that the offers we are receiving… The problem is that they’re just maybes before today,” Cleary stated earlier this week.

“I guess he can sort of understand more about the decisions to be made once they’re actually concrete offers, so we’ll see how that goes.”

Cleary’s assertions that Luai hasn’t historically been a key playmaker but would have to assume that role if signed to a multi-million dollar contract sparked Luai’s outburst.

“Is he prepared for such? I would think there’s a question mark there, Cleary said.

“Is he capable of it? Sure, he could pull it off. Has he completed it? Really, he hasn’t. He has a part to play in this team. That puts everyone at risk.
