Bill Belichick is parting ways with the New England Patriots after 24 seasons and six Super Bowl championships as head coach.
Here’s what we know: It was announced Thursday that Belichick and the New England Patriots have parted ways.
Belichick and Patriots owner Robert Kraft have been meeting since the beginning of this week to discuss how both sides want to move forward after the coach’s long history with the Pats.

Regarding Belichick’s coaching career, interest from seven other NFL teams with head coaching vacancies (one of which is the Atlanta Falcons, according to ESPN) is expected to collect.
The Walgreens in Roxbury will close on January 15, making it the drugstore chain’s fourth store to close in a predominantly black and Latino neighborhood in Boston.
In the past two years, Walgreens has closed stores in Mattapan, Hyde Park and Lower Roxbury.

The Massachusetts House of Representatives yesterday unanimously passed a bill that would strengthen protections for people who may be victims of revenge porn and other image-based sexual assaults.
The proposed bill would also add protections against coercive control and domestic violence, extend the statute of limitations for some domestic crimes, and revise state law regarding teen sexting.
But banning revenge porn — a form of digital abuse that involves sharing sexually explicit images or videos without a person’s consent — is a big step for Massachusetts.
The state is currently only one of two states that do not ban revenge porn.
What changes are planned?This bill would impose penalties on adults who distribute revenge porn under existing criminal harassment laws.
If convicted of distributing explicit images of another adult without the consent of both parties, the person can be sentenced to two and a half years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.
