After defeating the Los Angeles Chargers in primetime on Monday Night Football, Dak Prescott is relishing his bye week.
He made the decision to devote some of his vacation time to learning a new sport. The camera panned to the Cowboys quarterback watching the action during the exciting Game 5 of the ALCS playoff series between the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros.
He was supporting the underdogs in the game because he was wearing an all-white Rangers shirt. Former President George W.
Bush once owned a portion of the Rangers. He acquired the franchise in 1989, four years before Prescott was born.
Twelve years prior to his appointment as Commander in Chief of the United States, the purchase was made. Additionally, the purchase was made only four months after George H.W.
Bush, his father, succeeded Ronald Reagan as President following his electoral victory in November 1988.
Bush had a portion of the team until 1998, when he sold it for roughly $15 million. He is still just an admirer of the group now.
