Travis Kelce is improving ahead of Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which is shown live on Sky Sports, despite missing the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Detroit Lions in the NFL season opener; Chris Jones, who recently inked a new contract with the Chiefs, may play against the Jaguars.

Although Kelce’s knee hyperextended during practice last week, preventing him from playing in the Super Bowl champs’ 21-20 loss to the Detroit Lions, head coach Andy Reid believes the 33-year-old’s fitness is getting better.

Reid stated: “Travis is improving. We’ll take it from there after we see how he performs for the remainder of today or tomorrow.”
