After missing time due to a knee injury, the former Barcelona player has not appeared in any games this season. He was predicted to be sidelined until September due to the injury.

Firpo recently stated in an interview that he is excited to play again for the team and that he is “almost recovered” from his injury.

Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, will be greatly encouraged by this news, since Firpo’s comeback might make him a new addition to the team.

Leeds United’s Championship campaign has started tough, with just one victory in five games to go along with three draws and one defeat.

The team’s only win occurred on the road, 4-3 against Ipswich Town. In addition, they were ousted from the League Cup following a penalty shootout loss against Salford City.

Firpo’s return to fitness might provide the team the much-needed boost they need to turn things around in the league.
