Jimmy Graham is making his way back to the Big Easy…

Jimmy Graham Says Farewell to New Orleans Saints, Fans

The Saints announced on Tuesday that the tight end has agreed to a one-year contract to rejoin the organization.

After being selected in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Graham joined the Saints and quickly established himself as one of the top tight ends in the league.

With 99 receptions for 1,310 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2011, he was selected for the Pro Bowl for the first time in five years.

Two seasons later, with 16 receiving touchdowns to his credit and 1,215 receiving yards gained, Graham was named to the first team of the All-Pro team.

But Graham’s days in New Orleans were coming to an end with the upcoming summer. A disagreement arose between Graham and the Saints when the latter franchise-tagged him for the 2014 offseason.

Graham thought the team regarded him as a tight end, but he should have been recognized as a wide receiver.

Graham was traded to the Seahawks in 2014, despite having reached a contract deal with the Saints before the season.

Before spending two seasons with each of the Packers and Bears, he played three seasons with Seattle and was selected for two Pro Bowls.
