On Saturday, the Devils made public the hockey world’s biggest secret: star defenseman Dougie Hamilton would miss the remainder of the 2023–24 campaign.
Following a 12 p.m. ET practice in Newark, interim coach Travis Green responded, “We probably won’t see Dougie, chance we’ll see Nate,” when asked about the fitness of forward Nathan Bastian and Hamilton.
