2024 NFL Draft Player Profile: Georgia TE Brock Bowers - Athlon Sports | News, Expert Predictions, and Betting Previews

The 2023 Georgia Bulldogs still have a lot to accomplish, but it’s never too early to plan for the future.

Especially on one of the most talented rosters in all of college football, there is a lot of turnover with underclassmen off to the NFL and maybe even a few players testing their value in the transfer portal.

Last season, the Bulldogs had two underclassmen drafted in the first round of the NFL draft, Jalen Carter at No. 9 and Broderick Jones at No. 14. Nolan Smith was a first-rounder at No. 30 after his senior season.

Even Darnell Washington and Kelee Ringo were mid-round picks after just their third season in Athens.

Kirby Smart has built an NFL factory, and these are a few of the finished products that he could expect to lose this Spring.

Georgia fans have been prepared for No. 19 to leave for the NFL draft, so this should come as no surprise.

Bowers is widely considered a top 5-10 prospect in this year’s NFL draft and could be the highest-drafted tight end of all time.

Kyle Pitts currently holds the distinction after being selected No. 4 overall by Atlanta in the 2021 draft.
