One of the biggest steals of the 2023 free agency period has to be when the Las Vegas Raiders signed wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who ended up being one of, if not the best, wide receiver two in the league. There were times when he was the go-to guy rather than Davante Adams.
While the Raiders didn’t have a great offense, they were able to find a complementary piece for Adams.
Davante Adams struggled at times because of the offense, and it felt like the games he played, or the games the opponent’s defense focused on stopping Adams, were when Meyers would just go crazy.
The two helped each other a lot last season, and as Adams recently said, even going into year 11 now, he learned a lot from Meyers.
Adams is one of the best players in the league and, in my opinion, the best receiver in the league, yet he can still learn things from his running mate.
