Pat Kelsey has arrived in Louisville; what is his message to the fans? “We’re Gonna Win”
The new era of Louisville basketball will officially begin today, with Athletic Director Josh Heird introducing new head men’s basketball coach Pat Kelsey at a news conference at 3:00 PM.
Kelsey arrived earlier today with his family and Josh Heird, and the media and other University personnel met him.
Kelsey said this when asked what fans might expect from local WDRB reporter Tom Lane:
This is precisely what Louisville supporters want to hear from their new head coach. Cardinal fans have grown bored of the lack of intensity from previous coaching staffs, and the fact that Kelsey’s first statement is “we’re gonna win” should auger well for Louisville fans.
Kelsey had this to say about the Louisville job:
A particular football staff member was also there at the Kueber Center to meet Pat Kelsey and his family.

Kelsey already seems to have a better grip on the city and fans of Louisville than Kenny Payne ever did, and it hasn’t even officially started yet. Louisville seems to be in good hands with Kelsey, and Louisville will officially announce him as head coach today inside the Kueber Center at 3:00 PM today.
