Raiders Coach Antonio Pierce Announce His Resignation and Explain His Decision

About two and a half weeks remain until the 2024 NFL Draft begins, and it remains unclear who the Las Vegas Raiders will select with the 13th overall pick—or whether they will stay at 13 altogether. Chad Reuter of NFL media recently performed a five-round mock draft and devised a clever plan for Las Vegas to take care of two of the team’s most pressing needs.

According to Reuter, the Silver and Black were set to select Alabama right tackle JC Latham in the first round.

The Raiders traded up pick 44, a fourth- and a fifth-round selection to choose Penix 33rd overall in Reuter’s deal at the top of the second round, as previously mentioned. In contrast, the Tennessee Titans traded No. 33 and a third-round pick to the Arizona Cardinals last year, along with the 41st overall selection, a third-round pick from the previous year, and a third-round pick from 2024. With the 33rd pick, the Titans selected quarterback Will Levis.

It’s unlikely that the Washington signal-caller will still be on the board following the first night of the draft, given his recent surge in popularity. However, it wouldn’t be shocking if Las Vegas pursued Penix if he is.
