Could Bronny James go from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh? College basketball news outlets are speculating on the possibility after a recent social media post hinted at it.
LeBron James’ son has had a pretty eventful nine months. He committed to play at USC for the 2023-24 season and experienced cardiac rest during an on-campus workout in July.
After life-saving efforts, he recovered from the incident and started playing five months later.
However, he plans on a change of scenery. James elected to enter the transfer portal earlier in April, and he’s keeping the option of declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft open.
Bronny James’ stats last season were disappointing, to say the least. He averaged just 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 19.4 minutes over 25 games (six starts).
James shot 36.6% from the field and 26.7% from 3-point range. His health could have played a factor but he clearly didn’t live up to the hype.
With James ready to move on, Duquesne head coach Dru Joyce possibly hinted at his next destination.
