LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – After a storied career at Texas Tech, Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, better known to Red Raider fans and players as “Rabbit” has been selected by the Arizona Cardinals.
During his four years in Lubbock, “Rabbit” played 58 games, registered 238 tackles, and made ten interceptions. Four of those picks came last season, when he took on a greater leadership role among the Red Raider defenders.
Taylor-Demerson is the first Red Raider selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. He was taken early in the fourth round Saturday, 104th overall.
The organization has been using this weekend’s draft to bolster their defensive secondary. Other new Cardinals include: Max Melton (cornerback, Rutgers) and Elijah Jones (cornerback, Boston College).
