Jack “Silk” Clark, a 2018 Cheltenham High School graduate, has announced that he will transfer from Clemson University to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia for his final year of eligibility.

During Clemson’s 2024 playoff run, Clark started all four NCAA tournament games and helped the Tigers reach the Elite Eight.

He was highlighted by The Philadelphia Inquirer in March for his accomplishments, which included scoring his 1,000th career point in a win against Baylor University on March 24.

One year ago, the 6’8″, 200 lb forward announced that he will be transferring from North Carolina State to Clemson University.

Clark is the son of former Cheltenham High School assistant principal Dr. Jill Parker Clark.

According to local historian Chuck Langerman, the last member of the Cheltenham High School community to play basketball at VCU was former teacher and Health and Physical Education administrator Mr. Scott Weinstein (below) who played guard at VCU from 1988 to 1991.
