The Warriors have received a major blow with veteran utility back Roger Tuivasa-Sheck sidelined by an injury sustained in training.
Adam Pompey and Edward Kosi have been called up to replace Tuivasa-Sheck and Marcelo Montoya for the One New Zealand Warriors’ 10th-round NRL clash against the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium tomorrow
Centre Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been ruled out after picking up a hamstring injury at training with Pompey brought in to replace him for his fourth appearance this season and the 84th of his career.
Left wing Montoya has been omitted with Kosi coming in for his first NRL game this year and the 28th of his career.
The other player out of the extended squad at the 24-hour deadline is rookie NRL prop Zyon Maiu’u.
Hooker Freddy Lussick moves onto the interchange in his return from suspension while the other two players retained in the 19-man game day squad are second rower Jacob Laban and fullback Taine Tuaupiki.
The game kicks off at 2pm local time; 4pm NZT.
