Two Orlando Pirates players have new contracts worth FIVE years each!

Two of the Orlando Pirates’ rising players have signed long-term contracts with the organization!

According to reports, two of the Orlando Pirates’ budding players have their long-term futures locked up!

Children Both goalkeeper Siyabonga Dladla and winger Mohau Nkota, who attended the Pirates academy, have committed to five-year senior contracts with the team!

Over the past two seasons, Nkota has been a star for Joseph Makhanya’s DStv Diski Challenge squad, while Siyabonga Dladla has shown his mettle for the Orlando Pirates’ feeder team Pele Pele FC in the ABC Motsepe League.

Together, the two have travelled to Spain for their pre-season camp with Jose Riveiro’s team.

According to a second source, “Orlando Pirates wanted to make sure that he has a senior contract so that he goes as a professional and not an amateur if they are to sell him to any team whether in Europe or locally.”

“It increases the player’s value, and extending the contract by years increases the value even further in terms of transfer fees and other financial negotiations in the event the player leaves.”
